Care guide

Watering

Water deeply once or twice a week in summer and every 10 days in winter. Let the top 5 cm of soil dry between waterings.

Light

Give at least 6 hours of direct sun. Fruit set depends on light more than anything else.

Soil & potting

Plant in free-draining loam enriched with 30% well-rotted compost. In pots, start with 18 inches and step up over time.

Feeding & pruning

Feed Anna Apple with balanced NPK before flowering and potash while fruit swells. Prune lightly after harvest to open the canopy.
